Comunication with interested partners and authorities

Different conferences were organized to inform the public sector, involving state, regional and local government agencies, plus industrial and citizen’s groups, on the importance of harmonizing national regulations with EU legislation and promotion of this process in the production chain from feed to food. These activities will support efforts such as regulatory actions. Special emphasis were placed on identifying the responsibilities of various stakeholders in order to improve communications, coordination and collaboration at local, regional, national and international levels.

Announcement for Roundtable discussion planed for the end of 2nd project year regarding legislation in the feed production is prepared but it meeting was delayed for 3rd project year because the adoption of new regulations should come into force on 1 May, 2010. The Research Center FEED-TO-FOOD is in constant contact with state authorities and is trying to organize that meeting and harmonized the aspirations of legislators and all stakeholders in production chain from feed to food.
